Training Matrix

In this training module u will be explained on the basics of Auditing a Quality Management System

Participants  to be aware of the following:

·       Basic concepts on ISO9001:2008

·       Benefits/Importance of ISO9000

·       ISO9000 Requirements

·       This course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to assess and report on the conformance and effective implementation of an occupational health and safety management system in accordance with ISO 19011.

·       At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

o    Describe the responsibilities of an Internal Auditor and describe the role of internal audit in the maintenance and improvement of management systems in accordance with ISO 19011

o    Explain the purpose and structure of OHSAS 18001:2007 and explain the principles, process and selected techniques used for the management of occupational health and safety including the significance of these for OH&S auditors.

What exactly is an Initial Environmental Review?

·       It provides a snapshot of a company’s performance at a particular point in time.

·       It highlights a company’s environmental impacts allowing action to be taken where it is most required.

·       The purpose is to find and evaluate as many areas as possible in which the company can improve its environmental performance.

ISO9001:2008 EMPLOYEE AWARNESS TRAINING

·       This is employee awareness induction training. This is to train the employees or newly appointed employees on the basics of ISO9001:2008.

ISO9001:2008 EXECUTIVE OVERVIEW TRAINING

·       This will give management a very good overview on the ISO9001:2008 standard. It also contains various exercise questionnaires for group discussions.

PROCESS  METRICS

·       These metrics are a good representation of the types of problems that typically occur within an organization. So a good way to improve your QMS and get good payback on your QMS investment is to track and measure these problems. Measure not just the frequency of occurrence, but also the cost of these problems on a monthly or quarterly basis. This way you will know how much you have saved and contributed to your profitability, by systematically eliminating these problems.
